'GlenAllachie derives from the Gaelic, Gleann Aileachaidh meaning ‘Valley of the Rocks’. The geology surrounding the distillery is dominated by Celtic runes and Pictish stones, and is the reason for the craftsmanship behind our unique branding.'

GlenAllachie was purchased by Billy Walker in October 2017, who had over the previous decade revived the fortunes of GlenDronach, Benriach and Glenglaussaugh before all three were sold to Brown-Forman.

The future is very bright for this under-rated distillery.
