Gaelic for "Black Dog", this is the Speyside Distillery's take on the "black whisky" style, pioneered by Loch Dhub and since discontinued. The colour derives from heavy use of spirit caramel, and the resulting flavour is thick and sweet, with liquorice, espresso beans, toffee, and a delicately swirling peat smoke.
