Boasting to be the most northern distillery on the mainland, the distillery is situated on the south bank of the Wick River in that town. Established in 1826, Wick proved an ideal spot for remote distilling because of its sea access.
Tasting Notes:
Appearance: Deep amber, red golden (with a slight pink hue) sparkling with a copper glow
Aroma: Medium to high intensity and complexity. Dry with a hint of sea air
Palate: Dry, medium bodied and smooth, redolent of honey and cream, faintly salty with a slight spicy note
Finish: Sweet and long-lasting
