All Quai D'Orsay sizes are made with a light tasting blend of filler and binder leaves from the 'Vuelta Abajo' zone, which is the main source of tobacco for Habanos and the only zone in Cuba that grows all types of leaf: wrappers, filler and binders.

Its wrappers are mainly distinguished by their Claro (ligth brown) and Colorado Claro (mild brown) colours.
