Araperique tobacco is one of the most sophisticated and rare types of tobacco in the world. This tobacco is matured using the'Method Perique' (layered in oak whisky barrels and matured under high pressure for at least a year) which is still based on the methods used by the Choctaw Indians.
Dark fired Kentucky tobacco is created in a very special wood fired curing process - the tobacco is hung in barns above smouldering oak and hickory wood, allowing the unique smoky aromas to absorb into each and every leaf.
