Tasting Notes
Matured in specially selected oak casks for over twenty one years, The Antiquary 21 Year Old is a smooth blend of rare distinction, containing only the best Scottish malt and grain whiskies.
AROMA - Fresh and invigorating, malty & sweet - treacle toffee with hints of bitter orange and lemon.
PALATE - Full and smooth with syrupy sweetness, burst of malty flavours. Very long satisfying heather honeyed aftertaste.
FINISH - Dry oak spice finish.

The Antiquary line was initially created by the Hardie brother over 150 years ago to make the ‘perfect’ scotch blend. Using only the most fine and rare malts, they launched their creation in 1888.
With a name taken from a famous Sir Walter Scott novel, the pair hoped to imbue some of the history, passion and story into their bottlings that the book described!
